If you have read other pages on this site you are well aware that we believe a growth mindset is better defined as a mindset of a champion. It is more encompassing. Here we will centralize growth mindset articles for students who are interested in learning how a growth mindset is connected to a mindset of love, a mindset of faith, a mindset of faithfulness, family mindset, a mindset of friendship, the human mind, the human body, and the human spirit.
Five mindset shifts are necessary to fully embrace the development
of a growth mindset or the mindset of a champion
If you have articles about associated with improvement in learning, athletic performance, or your physical, mental, or emotional well-being we would love to have you share. When we all share everyone benefits. Improving your mindset is what this is all about and typically requires five shifts.
Shift number 1 is recognizing the need to take responsibility for where you are in your life. Regardless of what forces outside your control have influenced where you are currently at in your life, you and only you are responsible for how you interpret and react to those circumstances. Are you resilient? Are you an overcomer? If you are your story about your mindset would be suitable growth mindset articles for students. Share your story below.
Shift number 2 is recognizing you must develop structure and discipline in your life. If you are a parent of a teen ager your responsibility is to help provide that structure and discipline. If you are a young adult on your own you will either have to develop that on your own or find a coach or mentor to help you. It is necessary. Strategies for developing that structure and discipline, structure and discipline hacks or similar articles would be great additions to this growth mindset articles for students section.
Shift number 3 is coming to understand why you need to apply HEAT to your life. Habit, emotion, attitude, training is a process where you first identify and let go off stored negative emotions, limiting decisions, and beliefs and then program in new positive emotions and beliefs. The habit training is perhaps the most important and challenging for people but the benefits are literally life-changing.
Shift number 4 is this page – coming to realize you need to take advantage of synergy. The sharing of knowledge, wisdom, and experiences improves our ability to master the law of requisite variety. That law essentially says the person, principle, system or idea that has the most flexibility will control the system. Another way of saying it is the person with the most flexibility in their behavior will gain the greatest results. Synergy is the fuel that is used to master the law of requisite variety.
Shift number 5 is coming to the realization that you need a mentor. Mentors were the norm for the elites of society for eons. They are regaining favor. Investing in yourself by investing in a mentor or life coach will pay huge dividends, especially if that life coach is committed to training your mindset. Simply put, we don’t value what we aren’t willing to invest in. When you spend your hard earned money on something, especially the more money it costs, the more you end up valuing it. That is a basic economic and psychological reality.
Please, you have stories to offer. Submit them for review. If yours doesn’t get accepted right off, try again.
We all have experiences with our mindset. Sharing your struggles and your successes can help others. You may not have answers but only questions, that is okay. Maybe you have experiences of overcoming and resilience - awesome please share. We learn from others successes and struggles.
